Import Inventory Items- Cloud Hosted

Importing Inventory Items into Furniture Wizard.

Before importing any spreadsheets into Furniture Wizard, you need to ensure every line item has all of the required fields in the Excel spreadsheet and that all of the field header names are correct.

Once satisfied with the spreadsheet, you need to copy the .xlsx spreadsheet into the cloud environment.

  1. Open your Windows App (The same one you open to access Furniture Wizard Software.)

  2. Select Wiz++

  3. Open the ‘Inventory for Import’ Folder

  4. Paste the .xlsx Excel Spreadsheet into the ‘Inventory for Import’ Folder

Once the Spreadsheet(s) are copied into the Cloud environment they can now be imported into Furniture Wizard.

  1. In Furniture Wizard Preferences select ‘Import Inventory’

  2. Select ‘Import Inventory’ again on the Wizard Data Manager

  1. Inside the importer select ‘Load Excel File’

  2. Find and select the Excel file you copied in the ‘Inventory for Import’ Folder in the Wizard files.

  1. Verify the headers are correct. Then select ‘Start Data Analysis’

  1. Verify the data, select the process method (leave as all changes unless you are only wanting one method of changes). Then select ‘Process Data’

  1. Once complete Select ‘OK’

All inventory should be imported from that spreadsheet. If you added additional spreadsheets to the folder you can start the process from #3.
