How to Run Ashley Updater

The purpose of this article is to instruct you on how to run the Ashley Updater. Follow the instructions below based on what version of Furniture Wizard you have purchased.

Furniture Wizard Cloud Users

Request Furniture Wizard Support to run it for you by doing the following:

  1. If you want us to run it weekly, click the link here to request automatic Ashley Updates each week:

  2. If you do not want it to run weekly and would like us to run it once, please email Help@FurnitureWizard.com and make the request.

*If you are a Furniture Wizard Cloud user, please do not follow the instructions below.

Peer-to-Peer or Your Own Server Users

  1. Verify that there are no files in the C:\Wizard\AshleyUpdates folder except the History folder. Move any files beginning with 888 into the History folder.

  2. Click the Windows Start button and search for ‘Ashley Updater Tool’. Run it as Administrator

  1. Choose “Yes” when requested to allow the app to make changes to your device.

  2. Click Start. The Ashley Updater process can take up to 1.5 hours if you run the Ashley Updater weekly and 5+ hours if you do not run the updater often.
    DO NOT USE FURNITURE WIZARD WHILE THE UPDATER IS RUNNING.
